Beryllium Copper (typically Alloy 25) is specified when an application requires a combination of high strength, non-magnetic properties, and high electrical conductivity. Unlike steel, CuBe is 'non-sparking', making it mandatory in explosive environments (e.g., oil refineries or grain silos).
