Introduction to spiral retaining rings
Spiral Retaining RingIntroduction
Product Introduction
SpiralRetainingRing, also known asSpiral elastic retaining ring is rolled from flat metal wire. After heat treatment and surface treatment, it has good elasticity and toughness. It is divided into shaft and hole, single turn, double turn and multiple turns according to different loads, and is used for axial positioning.
Product Features
Spiral retaining rings have the following characteristics:
☉No gaps - the shape is a continuous circle, fully in contact with the assembly
☉The inner circle is smooth and complete, and does not interfere with the mating parts
☉Inner The outer diameter has no burrs and is easy to disassemble and assemble
☉No corner waste is produced during the production process, saving materials
☉No mold is required and the production cycle is short. By changing the material thickness and number of turns, it can be easily made into light-load, medium-load and heavy-load types.
Scope of application
Spiral retaining rings are widely used in hydraulic parts assembly, valves, instruments, various lock core components, needle roller bearings, pulleys, connectors, quick connectors and other mechanical assemblies
Selection of materials
Spiral retaining rings can be made of a variety of materials, such as spring steel, stainless steel, copper and other metal materials, which can be easily produced. Currently, the commonly used spiral retaining ring materials on the market are 65Mn, stainless steel 304 (commonly used in the United States 302), 316, 17-7PH. In some cases, materials such as beryllium bronze alloy and high-temperature alloys are used.
